TERRIGAL – FULL-TIME EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Explore & Develop Terrigal. If you hold a Degree in Early Childhood and would like to work in an innovative early childhood setting that exceeds the National Quality Standards, we welcome your application.

The right candidate will be  able to work within a large team. They will be committed to providing high-quality care and be involved in upholding our Exceeding rating and be willing to take on additional responsibilities.

About us:

We are a child-safe service with a beautiful park-like playground and lots of creative, engaging spaces for children to explore and learn in. We care for and educate 88 children across the service each day with five age specific classrooms.

We continue to maintain an Exceeding rating in all areas of the National Quality Standards and are led by an experienced, engaged and involved Approved Provider and leadership team.

You will have:

  • Early Childhood Teaching Degree – new graduates welcome
  • Valid Working With Children’s Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate – HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
  • Current Child Protection – CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025 course code preferred
  • Knowledge of the NQF and EYLF
  • Current references
  • Responsible Person experience (preferred but not required)
  • Room Leader/Leadership experience (preferred but not required)
  • Experience with programming and planning for children and willingness to carry out written documentation for children.
