Explore & Develop Artarmon is expanding with a brand-new, purpose-built early childhood education and care service on Dickson Avenue, Artarmon. As we prepare to welcome families into this new space, we are looking for a passionate, experienced, and professional Nominated Supervisor / Centre Director / Educational Leader to lead and inspire a new and growing team.

This is a unique opportunity to shape a service from the ground up, supported by an experienced Owner/Approved Provider with a reputation for excellence in the Artarmon area. Our sister centre, Explore & Develop Artarmon – Campbell Street, has been awarded an Exceeding rating by ACECQA three consecutive times — a testament to our commitment to quality.

About the role:

As the Nominated Supervisor, Centre Director and Educational Leader, you will be instrumental in:

  • Establishing and leading a high-quality early childhood program
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and supporting a dedicated team of educators
  • Creating a warm, inclusive environment for children, families, and staff
  • Ensuring compliance with National Quality Standards, Regulations, and Laws
  • Developing meaningful relationships with families and the local community
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement, reflection, and professional learning

What we're looking for:

  • A qualified Early Childhood Teacher (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership role in Early Childhood Education
  • Approved Nominated Supervisor or willingness to obtain
  • Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and current best practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A commitment to inclusion, equity, and building strong relationships
