Explore & Develop Lilyfield is looking for an experienced, qualified and passionate Inclusion Support educator to join our team. As Inclusion Support, you will be joining our existing team of educators to support children in our 2-3 year old room across the week. This role is Monday through to Friday from 9.30am-3.30pm.
You will be responsible for supporting the staff in implementing a quality care and education program for kindergarten aged children. You should have the ability to assist in providing one on one support for children with challenging behaviours and additional needs as required.
The successful applicant must have previous experience in an early childhood education and care setting, have the drive and capability to implement and introduce inclusive strategies into the program.
• Hold a Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood (qualifications must be recognised by ACECQA)
• Hold a working with children check and a strong knowledge of Child Safe Standards.
• Confidence working with challenging behaviours
• Have a patient and positive attitude with high levels of enthusiasm, initiative, motivation and creativity.
Prior experience working in an Inclusion support role will be highly regarded.
