We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nominated Supervisor to lead our 122-place, Exceeding-rated early childhood education and care service.
This is a senior leadership role suited to a confident, capable professional with proven experience in medium to large centre operations, strong regulatory knowledge, and a passion for high-quality early learning and team development.
$90,000 – $110,000 per year
About the role
As Nominated Supervisor, you will:
- Provide operational and educational leadership across a large, high-occupancy service
- Ensure full compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and regulatory requirements
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of educators and leaders
- Drive continuous improvement to maintain and strengthen our Exceeding rating
- Build strong relationships with families, staff and external stakeholders
- Support a positive, professional and values-driven workplace culture
- Oversee staffing, rosters, compliance systems and daily centre operations
Essential requirements:
- Proven experience as a Nominated Supervisor in a medium to large early childhood centre
- Minimum Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
- Current Working With Children Check
- Strong knowledge of:
- National Quality Framework (NQF)
- National Regulations
- Child Safe Standards
- Regulatory compliance and governance
- Demonstrated leadership, staff management and performance development experience
- Strong communication, organisation and decision-making skills
Highly regarded:
- Experience in large-service management (100+ places)
- Experience maintaining or achieving Exceeding ratings
- Financial, occupancy and operational management capability
- Strong quality improvement and compliance systems knowledge
